Pretty, nice spot. One time I was there the grass area was full of picnickers. The other it was empty. Both times the beach area was not too crowded for a nice walk. Some big rocks in spots and it can be a little hard to walk on so not a good spot for a wheelchair or walker. But a nice place to walk your dogs. Lots of clamshells and baby crabs everywhere.
My husband and I came here for our anniversary and it was beautiful and so quiet and serene, we will definitely be coming back again soon. Some of the trails are closed right now due to landslides but it's still alot of fun there's beaches and a playground for the kids, plenty of places to barbecue.
Nice little campground! Make SURE you lock up your food and garbage at night though, those little masked bandits aren't afraid of you at all! Short little hike to the water makes for some great views! Lots of paved areas for the kiddos to ride bicycles, etc on.
Está increíble!! The trail is short, but amazing. You can get a wonderful view of Rainier and sea. Great for camping, fishing, swimming and have fun.
It is pretty close to the city but far enough to get peace of cars - airplanes' noise.
Great park, but some issues like it can be very noisy at night
They have been having septic issues that take the fun out
Other than that, we like it
Clean facilities and nice benches and picnic covers. Small beach when the tide is in, but the bay is very shallow. Good for new kayakers or paddle boarders.
Such a big beach area to explore! Tons of uprooted trees along the water and lots of nature to keep the kiddos busy for hours! I think this is the longest we stayed on the beach at a single park. Nice clean restrooms to use and picnic benches to sit at. Kid friendly trail system.
Great afternoon retreat to wander the woods or explore the beach. The campground is well maintained with full facilities.
I highly recommend stopping by for an afternoon adventure or staying for a weekend camping trip.
Bring your mud boots to explore the spit on low tide and your hiking shoes and enjoy the self guided nature walk.
This is a great place for all ages.
